Distance.. SMU ½ hr, NTU 1½ hr But I can always stay in hostel so itz not a of major concern..

Accreditations NTU has AACSB and EQUIS but SMU dun.. Lijuan was saying it doesnt really matter unless im thinking of studying overseas after tt.. but i doubt so

3yrs/4yrs.. rather tempting.. considering that I still gotta take my ACCA..

Internships.. one offers more than the other but it doesnt matter too cos accountants will definitely get a job in the end

Lecture style vs seminar style.. (i prefer lecture style.. but i think seminar style is more practical), so mayb I can ignore this factor too..

So now it’s like the matter of 2nd specialisation.. actually i prefer ntu's cos they got both banking and finance..(Sounds nicer) and SMU has only finance.. But.. NTU 2nd specialisation harder to get..

Another thing is that I duno what are the kind of electives the SMU students must do.. the NTU one not very appealing to me.. So how how?! Someone please convince me..

It's college day today too.. The ceremony was terribly long.. there were nice videos though.. great speeches by the guest of honour and Ian..
Asked if i missed school.. i'd say no.. but i miss my friends and the time spent together.. sitting round the canteen table, stoning and crapping before school starts..

Managed to talk to Ms Goh, told her i cant make up my mind which uni i wanna go. NTU, SMU, each has it's appeal.. hope i find an answer for myself soon.. don't have much time to drag..

I hate being partially blind.. I haven mention.. but i broke my hard lens after coming back from Cedar's 50th Anniversary dinner. Called my optician today and the lady said my ready-made lens from germany will take 10 days at least!! for now.. it has already been 6 days.. awww..

Really cant take the torture anymore.. moreover, i'll b going for driving lessons for most of next week and i certainly wanna drive safe.. manage to get daily soft lens to sustain for another week..

Yeah.. im free for the most of june.. should i find a new job or should i just slack.. nonetheless i must complete my driving lessons soon before my test in Aug..

SO FAST and another month has passed.. Somehow.. the month of May always pass faster than I thought it should be..

Today’s the last day of Term II.. the very day which marks my last day of work as a music teacher.. sniff sniff.. I really really like my job, good pay, good working hours, no marking, great company..(especially with Runi, Angela and Janice) Im like paid to sing, be merry and appreciate music. Honestly I’ve learnt as much as what I’ve taught the girls.. (Accidentally in Love and You and Me on guitar)

The bell rang at 12.50pm.. instinctively I wanted to leave school immediately.. I felt so weak and tired.. the rain made it worst.. so I decided cab home. Went to the clinic, but they were out for lunch.. so I waited.. it was only 1.15pm.. then at 1.30pm.. the shutter went up, took a number card and continue to wait.. only manage to see the doc at 2. Doc said I was having a fever.. 38 deg.. (yeah whatever, I just needed the medicine and then I can lay in bed to REST!)

Doc: Do you need an MC?
ML: Ehh.. no..
Doc: Sure?
ML: ok, maybe for tmr.. (thinking to myself, who the hell is on MC on their bday)
Doc: Ok

Luckily the rain stopped, but things are not getting better.. as I walked out of the lift.. I told myself.. the keys must be in my bag.. yet.. I was 99.9% sure it wasn’t.. How could I actually forget.. I was so close to home.. so close to lying down on the bed to rest..

Sis is still in school training. Bro’s out.. and he’s not picking up his phone.. Mum’s at work and she doesn’t have the car.. so my only option left was Dad.. (the one who always nag at us for not bringing keys..)

Surprisingly.. he wasn’t the least bit angry.. but he’ll take an hour before he reaches home.. time check.. it was 2.30pm and one hour later’s 3.30pm! 15 min later bro called.. he said he could bring the keys.. in 15min.. hesitated for awhile before I replied “ ok, just come home quickly..” that 30 min was like eternity.. I wanted to be home so so badly..

Slacking in school.. i've only got one lesson later at noon.
I cant wait to leave school and see the doctor..
This is so not the way to be spending my bday week!
Dentistry results were out yesterday.. not offered a place.
Now im left to decide btw SMU and NTU accounting..

Runi got me to go for the social night event.. good thing.. I can make use of my prom dress again and I've got a nice dinner paid for. But there's a bad thing.. im feeling so sick and blind that im not in the mood for socializing.. also, the hair dresser is busy this thursday and she cant help us to set our hair.. hmmm we gotta go find elsewhere (which is more expensive)..

Going to bed now.. hope i'll feel better tmr..

I’ve just set myself a new record, a total of 7 movies/musical watched in a week! Watched ‘Cats’ yesterday and I prefer the second half of the musical where they sang the song ‘Memory’. It is definitely the highlight of the musical… if not the song would not be so well known.

I like one of its lines. “if you find the meaning of happiness, a new life will begin” It is very applicable to me, or even many of us. What’s happiness to you? I guess, even if I know what happiness is to me, it does not imply I can get what I want to be happy. So when Runi and Jane ask what I want? I’d say I duno. Because I think I need something intangible.

I went for a free Lacome facial with Runi today.. We were really excited yet nervous.. none of us have never been to a facial and we were afraid our skin will turn red like Jane when she had one from else where..

Well, the results? It wasn’t that bad. Our faces were perfectly fine.. just got a little more oily because they applied some stuff.. Moisturizer or emulsion im not sure too.. But other than oiliness and that it took about 1 and a half hrs, it was good as I found that my pores have reduced in size!! Woo..

Runi manage to get a white tube dress.. yay!! Somehow, the shopping centres are REALLY crowded today. Kinda rare for a Thursday and it’s not like tmr is the last Friday of the month and there’ll be midnight shopping.

Watched RENT today, it has made me reflect a little on my life and how I’ve spent my life. The person who wrote it (late Johnathon Larson) had so much passion, so much fire and love! This musical has been around for more than 10 years and it’s really nice that it has been made into a movie. It is like an equivalent to Phantom of the Opera. Though it is not as rich in its music, it raised many controversial topics such as HIV, drugs and homosexuality.

We are always so ready to condemn someone different from us. Yet sometimes we should be ashamed that our heart’s so small to accept and to love people for who they are. We should learn to make the most of all the time that you’ve got. As part of the song ‘No day but today’ goes, Forget regret, or life is yours to miss.

Slackest day ever, I only had one lesson to teach today. Spend the rest of the time watching Les Choristes (aka The Chorus) and School of Rock. (the nicer vcds found in the music room) Strong recommendation for Les Choristes, it’s funny, touching the the boys’ singing is really good.

I finally exercise after months of slacking in the office. Went to the Bishan gym.. indoors + aircon is the best way to beat the blazing sun. Im seriously getting more solarphobic each day. Symptoms: Staying away from the sun and starting to love the gloomy wet days. Soon I’ll be the next Lynn Khoo at Sentosa.

I use to love getting tan.. lying along the pool the whole afternoon sun bathing, getting the thrill when the intensity of the infra-red radiation increases. Now the thought of it just reminds me of the possibilities of me getting more spots (on top of increased amount of freckles), premature ageing and even SKIN CANCER!

Im a depressed kid now. I want to go out to play beach vball yet I do not want to play it under the sun.. I can believe this is happening to me!! Maybe STB should build indoor beach vball courts at Sentosa to protect ppl from the evil sunrays.

Finally back from hiatus... Started on my new job. Gotten replies from the Unis. Went through the test and interviews (one of which was REALLY nasty). I’m kind of settled with my choice if im not offered my first choice in NUS. (Out of two, just pick one, that’s not difficult)

Honestly, till now Im still not very sure what I want to do in future... Life now is slack and boring. I need to add some value to my life. Maybe I can start by coming out with events for the Cedar Connect.

To my darlings who know what they want to do in life, Im soooo proud of you. Well, Runi (I know you are reading this) she has the passion for med, Lynn, she knew biz is going to be her choice (in which her career in it will allow her to doll up as much as she likes) and for Jane, the science-y girl, bioengineering.

K, shall talk about my job. It’s great! Im the only blessed teacher who do not need to climb to the various levels to teach. Yeah, the students come to me at the music room! Job’s good. Great company of friends who always bring tidbits to hold small parties. It’s like tidbits day everyday. Everyone’s nice, not like the nasty women I met on Wednesday. I guess my one month stay is going to be fun. Im so looking forward to everyday of this month.. May’s a great month and 23^rd is a great day.
